it has been a month of birthday celebrations, visits with friends, business trips to kelowna, las vegas, ohio, and vancouver… scott’s university graduation, exciting new changes, weddings, engagement sessions and lots and lots of late nights working to make it all happen. i am so grateful. and tired. but mostly i am just so grateful, haha!

earlier this month, one of my best friends jeremy kester and i launched the release of our new project, the dressing room app. to hear more about it check out www.thedressingroomapp.com  (SO COOL!) – we couldn’t be more excited to get this out to the app store soon, and are still crazy overwhelmed by the support we have received after releasing the details! it’s been a month of endless late work nights, a week with me in ohio followed by a week with jeremy in canada, team building and lots and lots of paperwork. we’re learning so much along the way and have been so lucky to have such an incredible team working with us to make it happen. on the side while we were working on that, we also started re-vamping up my photography business which has been SO fun! we transitioned my current site to a real life fairytale while jeremy was in canada (so cool, you’ll see.), he filmed my new promo video and then put it all together in the raddest website ever, EEK! we are still putting the finishing touches on the website, but working hard to get it published as soon as possible!! I CANNOT WAIT TO SHOW YOU ALL!!! i absolutely LOVE my current site but we felt it needed an update. i think you guys are going to love it.

1 day after jeremy flew back to ohio from a full week of non-stop work on the dressing room app and my photography business, one of my other best friends jackie gannon (jaclyn m photographer) flew into calgary and we started our roadtrip out to vancouver for OUR birthday! that’s right! it was BOTH of our birthdays yesterday! how fun is that!? so a 12 hour roadtrip over 2 days, a spontaneous de-tour out to bikini town for an evening, lots of loud music and working from my iphone’s hotspot in the car, we made it to the west coast. scott fly’s out to meet us in vancouver tomorrow, and then him and i are headed to the island for colby and karla’s wedding on friday, yay! and then to bikini town! AH! crazy right?!?

so, moral of the story is that i just wanted to update you all on what has been going on as i know i have been posting less on the blog lately. life has been so crazy and we’ve hardly had time to sleep, but at the same time our hearts are SO full and we are so excited about everything that is happening! i am definitely looking forward to some downtime one day, but for now, this is perfect 🙂
