karla and coby drove to kelowna the night before their engagement session all the way from vancouver island. friday morning came around, and we woke up to POURING rain, low dark grey clouds and a strong wind. perfect. i emailed karla and asked if she wanted to reschedule, and she replied “no its totally okay with us! we live in the rain most the the time anyways, no worries!”. i couldnt help but smile when i read it. “no worries” describes exactly the type of people karla and coby are. they are fun, happy, easy going and go-with-the-flow kinda people and scott and i loved hanging with them. instead of rocking the rain session which we had planned on doing, we got so lucky with a beautiful evening, against what the forcast had said (which, by the way, i actually think they just have a automated system where they produce a random forcast and hope for the best. i mean, the picture is of a sun with a small cloud and a few rain drops… sooo sunny and cloudy and raining? thanks, tips. sounds like to me they are just covering all their bases ;))

i really couldnt get over karla’s amazing freckles and beautiful eyes, and she had the best giggle! not to mention scott was super excited after talking with coby because he realized we added one more detroit red-wings fan to our wedding couples this year. i am starting to think we need to have a red-wings party one of these days with all of them, coby was our 5th die-hard fan and scott couldn’t have been happier about it! we are both so crazy excited for their wedding on the island next year, and with that ~ enjoy!!
