and we’re lucky to have the very best people for the job. We are Bradyhouse Studios - Our friendship is more like family, we are loud laughing, happy hour loving, aloha living artists who love adventure, spontaneous dance parties and the occasional shot of Jameson, out of the bottle. #alwayshavingthemostfun.
I’m Meg, founder of Bradyhouse Photographers, and my husband Peter and I have experienced the many challenges that come with planning a destination wedding. In 2017 we travelled to Bali, Indonesia, (a place we had never been) for our secret adventure elopement and we were crazy unorganized. (Don’t worry, it’s normal!) I didn’t have any shoes to wear because I forgot to pack them and I forgot to order flowers in time so we foraged my bouquet from the hotel grounds, not to mention my hair and makeup artist was a no-show. Our original location that I had my heart set on was from an instagram photo I had seen months before. Turned out, it was actually the side angle of a garbage filled parking lot LINED with other brides and grooms who apparently, all had the same hopes.

I was devastated. We spent DAYS searching to find a new spot worthy of our trip across the ocean where we could exchange our vows that wasn’t flooded with 1000 tourists or behind a guard-rail. On the evening before our elopement a sweet couple overheard me talking (almost in tears) about how we still didn’t have “a spot”. They asked us to follow them on their moped and they led us out to the most amazing secluded cliff that we would have NEVER found on our own. It seriously made our elopement so special, I don’t know what we would have done without them!

Since then, we have have witnessed over 800 elopements and we’ve learned a few tricks along the way. Our team knows Kaua’i like the back of our hands, we know the spots to get away from the crowds whether you’re looking for a secluded beach, a private waterfall or an epic ridge trail, and we know the vendors who will show up and take the best care of you.

We can help plan for the best time of day to get the winds and the light just right, and we know how to track the unpredictable island weather so we can find the sunshine if we need to. We are here to guide you through the entire planning process and to take away those stresses and anxieties that come with travel and planning a wedding. Let’s talk about your dream elopement day whether we’re keeping things easy access and relaxed or going on a crazy adventure and together we will make it even more magical than you ever imagined.

I'm a surfer-girl wannabe and a small town Canadian farm girl living the dream on Kaua'i, Hawai'i! I have been photographing weddings for over 13 years and have shot in 13 different countries which has been so rad! I believe in the magic of a full moon, I live for sunsets where specks in the air light up like pixie dust and only one of my 25 houseplants have died in the last year which is pretty much one of my greatest accomplishments! I love booking one-way tickets when we travel, I believe that birthdays deserve a whole week and you know I’ve had too many beers if I start rapping Eminem. These days however, you're more likely to catch me rapping Disney Hit's with my 3yr old daughter, Charlie June. I used to live off of taco's and Mac'n'Cheese but I made my own pasta recently (adulting) so now I think I'm a master chef (ha! I kid. Kind of;)). Lover of flowers, twinkle lights, happy hour + Bon Iver:)
Originally from North Carolina, I have lived on Kaua’i for 12 years and it’s the best place on the planet to call home. I am a proud husband and father to my beautiful wife Meg and our very busy little Charlie Junebug, being her dad is the best job in the world. I am the ultimate utility knife, done a bit of everything and up for anything. I am your photographer, videographer, drone pilot, pack mule, bellyflop instructor, and a big kid at heart so always trying to keep things fun. I’d surf every single day if I could, and I don’t believe there is such a thing as too many surfboards even though my wife disagrees. Whether it is a new hobby, a running competition or the volume on a football game I always give it my all, once I start something I usually obsess over it until it's the best it can be. I’m always on the lookout for something new that I haven’t seen or tried, I love checking out unexplored roads or taking hidden paths to see what’s at the other end, it’s usually epic. Pizza, beer and Mexican food all day every day would be fine by me, and the movie Moana made me cry. Cheers!
Born on Kaua'i, I am an elopement photographer by day and bartender by night. Just out here trying to teach my friends how to keep their houseplants alive. I believe in the energy of Kaua’i and that there are countless island blessings if you give yourself space to find them. I’m down to hike any trail in slippers, I’m scared of gecko’s and you can probably hear me laugh from a mile away. Letters should be handwritten, searching for shells is my form of meditation and I draw my best artwork somewhere between 2 and 4am. I live my life on island time and am known for ignoring my phone when I’m living in the moment (don’t worry though, I won’t do this on your wedding day haha!). I believe that when you trust the people you work with, that's when the chemistry happens. That's when the real art goes down. Let’s go on an adventure!
Aloha! I’m Dayna but the team calls me Dayn:) I was born and raised here on Kaua’i and have been fortunate enough to spend the majority of my years surfing, exploring, and falling in love with all the island has to offer. I met Meg and Peter 6 years ago and we have been friends ever since. They have become like family to me and I’m beyond stoked to watch them grow into amazing parents to the coolest baby ever, Charlie! I love loco moco’s, sleeping in a hammock and singing karaoke, even if there isn’t a mic around. I am a firm believer in Aloha Āina, salt water heals everything and always leaving somewhere better than you found it. The best days ever usually involve a spontaneous change of plans, a cooler full of Truelys and people who love to laugh. Can’t wait to adventure with you!
Meet Jena Ramirez (our virtual assistant rockstar who you’ll probably be hearing a lot from!) Jena just joined our team in 2021 but we have all known eachother for years, she is usually the first to respond to anything that comes through the inbox! Although she works virtually, Jena is located on the east side of the island where she grew up, so she’s familiar with all the Kaua'i spots! During her free time, find her at the beach (with the occasional longboard, boogie board or vodka in hand! Ha!), skateboarding the bike path with her two kids or playing in the kitchen at home! Consider her your new best friend while planning your photography session and you’ll be hearing from her if you have any questions about the islands, your trip to Kauai, vendors, schedules, timelines or even adventures, she’s your girl and we’re so lucky to have her on the team!
