they say it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day, so let me tell you, these two… they have A LOT of luck on their side 😉 ~ it just so happened that their wedding landed on my 23rd birthday… and i couldn’t have asked for a better day! tanner and brittany tied the knot at the beautiful quail ridge golf course, and brittany looked absolutely drop dead GORGEOUS. there was something so special about the rain, it was an element that made their day unique to them. they both had told me more than once that they were kind of expecting rain all along, as apparently a rain cloud literally “follows them where ever they go” – so i guess it was only fitting!! …however … i am not sure if i can bring myself to believe that, as i have never met two more happy-go-lucky, easy going and kind people who live under a “rain-cloud”… just sayin’ … 😉

britt’s laugh is contagious and tanner is 100% captivated by her ever move. i had the opportunity to shoot their engagement photos last june, which is still to this day my absolute FAVORITE shoot that i have ever done~ i was so intrigued by them and by the magical session that we had i had literally  COUNTED DOWN THE DAYS to their wedding… oh wait.. maybe i was just counting the days to my birthday… but still… ~ .. 😉 – here are a couple of my favorite shots from their engagement session:

amazing right? now you can see why i was so excited, besides the fact that my birthday is my absolute favorite day of the year 😉 ~ these two were just as amazing on their wedding day as i had imagined. they are so inlove, and they are friends,  scott and i kept commenting all day that you can just tell how perfect they are for one another. it just works. and even with the rain, they were the same smiling, laughing, genuine people i had photographed on that sunny evening last june. i hope you all enjoy their photos as much as i do!

britt & tanner ~ it was such an honor to be your photographer! and thank you THANK YOU for inviting us back to join you at your dance to celebrate the best day of the year!
