Our New House!! Progress post #3

ahh! im so excited about how fast things are coming along with the new house! incase you didn’t know ~ scott and i are building a house in cochrane, alberta and we will be moving there in the spring! big changes coming soon, and we couldn’t be more excited!!

at first when we would say that we were moving “in the spring”, it seemed like it was years and years away. scott had a whole year of school to finish and we had a whole year of life to live out~ but, i am SHOCKED at how fast the time has been going by! we now only have 20 short days left at home, then we will be traveling for 6 weeks and BOOM! spring! ahhh!!

we have been traveling all over the place for the last month so we haven’t been able to get back to alberta to check out the house recently, (to see the photos of the outside check out the progress post #2 here) but i am forever grateful to katherine, our sales manager at jayman master build, who always makes my day and sends us photos of whats happening every week!! these are images she sent us a few days ago… we have a staircase! and windows!!

the rough-in inspections for the electrical and plumbing are all happening this week before they start the next phase, gosh i am just so excited to see what it is going to look like! it’s been a while since we chose everything, so it will be a bit of a surprise when we see it all again!!

one of the things i am most excited about is decorating.. even though i seriously need some help (if you know of any interior designers, let me know! i might need to connect with them before i go crazy haha!!) BUT! i have made a few small purchases so far as to decor ~ i’m just in love with this sea-foam colored glass chandelier that i found at z gallerie while we were in phoenix for christmas – so i picked it up for my office that will be on the main floor of the house! so exciting!! 🙂

hope you all enjoy the rest of your wednesday my friends!!
