long story short. my best friend, ashley, is getting married to a person who has also become one of my best friends, tyler. ashley + tyler = a love story. they are saying their “i do’s” next friday (september 30th) at a beautiful winery in kelowna. perfect.

i decided the other day that it would be fun to take them out and do a “almost married shoot” and it would be even more fun if i didn’t show them the photos until their slideshow was playing at their reception. then i realized i have no will power. seriously, none. i showed them 4 on the first day. 1 the next day (yesterday) and another today. my next thought was, well i better make this worth it, and i have now made a countdown project where i will be able to satisfy my “lacking” willpower by releasing one epic photo from this amazing session we did each day until the day of their wedding. good idea, right? i’m sure ashley thinks so 😉

these two are seriously the most adorable couple, and they are even better people. they are kind, fun, soft-hearted, caring, and compassionate. my husband and i are soo happy for them, and feel so fortunate to be such a huge part of their lives. best friends are one in a million, and if you have someone you can smile with, chat endlessly with, hang-out and do nothing with everyday, be brutally honest with, cry with, and most importantly laugh with ~ you should feel incredibly blessed and cherish those people in your lives. i know that i do, and i am so excited to be standing up at their wedding as ashley’s matron of honor!!
