rosemarie is as sweet as she is stunning. the storm blew through the backyard tent and the clouds grew darker but we still took our chances for sunset, so the emcee announced a break throughout the speeches and we jumped into a truck with the two of them and rosemarie’s dad to head up the mountain. we drove on backroads and dirt-roads and through gates until we got to the most beautiful spot with the pinkest craziest sky. they walked out into the field slowly hand-in-hand, taking a moment aside from the chaos and overwhelm of the day to be in that exact moment together.
the day moved slowly, there was a sense of calm among everyone that attended and especially within rosemarie and dmitri. we did some exploring in the hills, found some backroad lookouts and chased the sunshine. a perfect, meaningful and low-key day:) the okanagan is such a beautiful place, i love that i get to photograph so many amazing people from there!
it was a pleasure meeting you guys and your families rosemarie and dmitri, congrats again and enjoy the photographs!!
