steve got up on the ledge and held out his hand. “don’t worry, i got you” he said. she double checked the grip of her hiking boots as she stepped up on the rocks. he held her close and she rested in his arms as the wind lightly blew through her gown. the sun lit up the layers of tulle and he slowly brushed the pieces of hair blowing across her face. it was so quiet and surreal, them standing tall above the mountain tops as the sun slowly dropped. seriously a moment in my photography career i will never forget.

i loved listening to the words these two shared with eachother and the promises they made of respect and laughter and adventure. the helicopter picked us up at the revelstoke mountain resort and took us up to the ridge at ghost peak, what an amazing memory to get to be up there all by ourselves enjoying the breathtaking scenery. when we finished photographs we got dropped off at mid-mountain where carolyn and steve joined their closest family and friends for dinner. the perfect mix between a traditional wedding and an enchanted elopement <3
