she ran around twirling and giggling, letting the wind catch her dress and when he swept her up in his arms she melted into him like there was not a care in the world. she giggled and he picked her up in full swing, spinning her around and around as they both laughed. the love was just pouring out of them and the scene was like something out of a classic romantic comedy movie where you can’t help but to smile while watching. i lowered my camera to take the moment in, and i couldn’t help but think that this is what true, raw love and friendship looks like.

the day was relaxed, i had flown over to maui that morning and had a flight back to kauai that evening. and let me tell you, if there ever was a February 7th wedding in the USA that could upstage the superbowl, these two definitely pulled it off;). their ceremony was beautiful, their closest family and friends surrounding them as afternoon sun drenched them with that silky orange light, the water coming up to their toes trailing off with the train of holly’s dress. they held hands and looked straight into eachothers eyes. andy read to her a collection and composition of their favorite lyrics from their favorite songs and as he went to read the last line, holly looked him in the eyes and softly said with him “and so i’ll try, to let your heart know forsure, that i have so much more to tell you, every single day.”

congratulations andrew and holly and little charlee! i’ve always enjoyed both of your company before you were a couple and even more so now with you two together. it was so wonderful to be able to share in your day, your happiness is contagious and i am so, so excited for you both. see you back in the great white north! 😉 xoxo meg
