Leanne & Jesse | Prestige Harborfront Resort Wedding

you could see the storm rolling in from miles away. dark mysterious looking clouds and the occasional echo of thunder in the air, but the sun was shinning bright all the way through leanne and jesse’s beautiful outdoor ceremony at the prestige harborfront resort in salmon arm. everything was perfect and when she walked down the isle, he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. later in the day when the wind started to blow just a little as the clouds came closer, her hair blew gently across her face and it couldn’t have been any more enchanted with the dark clouds behind them and the rain coming down in the valley. im not going to lie, i actually love it when storms roll in when i am shooting weddings – i think it is just as romantic as a perfect sunset, and the sun always has a way of sneaking out in the midst of it all. ‘perfect wedding weather’ is all what you make it, and leanne & jesse’s day was not to cold, not to hot, not to bright, not to dark, not to windy not to rainy … it was perfect. and that is the only way to describe it. 🙂

they stood there on the dock, talking about their day. about the tuxedo vest that had come in the wrong color, how no one even noticed and it wasn’t a big deal. how the girls were ready so early and the day went flawlessly from there. they talked about how excited they were for the amazing h’orderves and that they were able to spend time with their guests because the day had gone so effortlessly on-time that we were done photos early allowing them to join their guests for cocktails. he brushed the hair from her face as the wind softly blew, she smiled. their whole day had a calmness, and a sense of peace about it. there was no rushing, no stress. it was relaxed, filled with love, laughter, friends and family. just like it was supposed to be, and i have no doubt that leanne and jesse will live a fun-filled life together forever with that same calm confidence that whatever is happening, is supposed to happen and they will tackle it together. <3

thank you so much leanne & jesse for having us be a part of your day 🙂 we loved every minute of it and can’t wait to see you two again! ~ hope you guys are having the most ridiculously fun time house-boating on the shuswap right now, and enjoy!
