i can’t believe the day is actually here! after 10 months of business coaching, planning, brainstorming, and soul searching, i have finally found my niche in this gigantic market. i couldn’t be more excited to be announcing my specialization in my photography career today as a “sunkissed wedding photographer for spontaneous and enchanted brides”. ~ To check out the amazing site that designer Julie Story put together for me (so thankful for her!) check it out here at www.megcourtneyphotography.com!

i am sunkissed at my core. i live for sunshine and i truly believe i was meant to be a california girl, even though i was raised pretty much the furthest thing away from that being on a farm, outside of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. i love spontaneity and appreciate those who have the ability to go with the flow and see the value in the bumps in the road. i love living life spontaneously because i believe things will work out. i am an optimist at heart and can somehow throw a positive spin on whatever situation i or someone else might be in. i believe in being brave and taking risks to get to where you want to go. and i believe by doing that, you will see that you can live an enchanted life. a life where you can choose to see the magic, instead of choosing not to. it is a choice to believe that the brilliant silky orange sunset makes the air look like it is filled with pixie dust, or you can choose to know that it simply just the specks in the air or even better, the bugs. (haha). i want to live life choosing to see the magic, and i want to inspire others to do the same. and an exerpt from my specialization blog post last week (incase you missed it)…”i want to focus on celebrating what is good, not dwelling on what could be better. i want people to see their fortune and embrace it, because it is amazing. i want people around me to recognize their incredible beauty and talent and gifts. to take risks to accomplish their dreams, because they can do it. YOU CAN DO IT. i want to inspire people to be brave. to believe that life is a fairytale. to choose to live happily ever after”.
