i’m not sure if i’ve ever seen someone who was literally glowing with such happiness as laurie was from the moment we stepped in the room. she looked absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. this was my first indian attire ceremony and i was in awe of how delicate and vibrant and joyful her look was. her smile is contagious, one of those women who just breath life into every room they walk in, especially on this day.

after the overwhelm of planning, laurie and ramen’s 3 day indian wedding turned into an afternoon, exchanging vows on the balcony of their suit at the chateau lake louise overlooking the blue glacier water with their 2 girls standing by their side. softly, privately and intentionally they spoke of their promises of lifelong commitment to eachother, and then we got in the car and drove to canmore to board a helicopter at alpine aviation. we flew over the mountaintops, laurie and raman hand in hand and the girls in awe of the scenery and the surreal-ness of the day. our pilot landed us in the middle of marvel pass on what was one of the most beautiful sunny, warm spring days of the year. everything was so peaceful up there. a quiet and vast wonder of mountain tops as far as the eye could see. they stood on the top of the rocks and began to practice their first dance, slowly, never taking their eyes off of eachother. the wind blew gently with only the soft sound of their two little girls playing and laughing in the background as they swayed back and forth. there was no worry of schedule, no worry of last minute details or of being on time. it was just them in that moment for as long as they chose to hold on to it. what a wonderful feeling.

and to top it all off, pete put together this amazing short highlight film from the day and i just had to share it with you guys! what a romantic and adventurous afternoon, and having this little video is such a cool way to share it with the world! once again, awesome job peter!
