sarah walked up to my booth at the vernon bridal event in january, and i knew instantly that she was my girl. she was so cute and had such a genuine smile, she was sweet, and most importantly she was soo excited about being engaged!! we had a great chat and i was absolutely THRILLED when she won one of the grand prizes at the end of the show which happened to include an engagement session with me!! can you say fate??? 😉

the clouds were rolling in, but i was confident that something amazing was going to happen that night, and it SOO did! jesse and sarah pulled up to the o’keefe ranch after sc and i had been there for about an hour scouting out locations and light, and the wind started HOWLING… it was pretty miserable outside, but they both trooped it out and were nothing but happy to be there. sticking out the storm that rolled through was soo worth it as soon as the sun peaked out from under the clouds ~ it was the most amazing light i have ever shot in, and i couldn’t have been happier to have this silly-cute couple infront of my camera!

she has a love of all animals and jesse is a farmboy at heart. she saw him come down the stairs with their puppy, not noticing the ribbon around it’s neck and the sparkeling jewel it held in place…. an engagement fit for a fairytale. ~ to hear more, check out their wedding website here 🙂
