what an amazing day, amazing couple, and amazing wedding. on august 25th, quincy and dave said their “i-do’s”, and i was so honored to be the one there to capture it! the day started at quincy’s parents, where the girls had their hair and makeup done as they drank bud light lime – {my kinda girls! .. haha!} … and when quincy’s uncle told scott and i that he had a surprise firework display planned for the evening, we knew it was going to be an unbelievable day! one of my favorite parts of the day is when dave saw quincy for the first time and his eyes welled up with tears. she looked so beautiful, and it was so amazing to see two people who are so right for each other start their forever. afterwards, we had so much fun taking photos with the GIGANTIC bridal party, the sun was shining and everyone was filled with smiles and laughter. this group was FULL of personality, and it was awesome getting to know them all!

both sc and i were ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY with the decor for their reception – it was incredible to see how they transformed an old small town arena into a room fit for a princess – friends and family of quincy and dave came together weeks before and hand-made the backdrop to make it look like an old “saloon”.. and Carolyn Kung did an incredible job of coordinating the rest of the details in the room to create their vision – just fantastic!!…and the FOOD! it was absolutely the most amazing meal i had ever eaten at a wedding! catered by lindens very own “Benz”, they had fresh fish flown in from the coast, the most beautifully crafted buffet tables i have ever seen, and a meal that you couldn’t get enough of. absolutely delicious. top all this off with a silky orange alberta sunset, fireworks, sparklers, a whole lot of friends and some impressive two-stepping…. it really was a perfect day!

congrats again quincy and dave. i have had so much fun with the two of you over the last year, and i can’t wait to see you both again soon! thank you for trusting me to capture the images of your fairytale day, and i wish you both nothing but the best!
