these last few months have been the longest i have stayed in one place in over 2 YEARS! crazy right!?? 3 months on kauai (well, i cheated a bit and flew to maui for a proposal and oahu for an engagement session, but that doesn’t count ;)) ~ the gypsy girl in me needed a rest and i am so grateful for the down time. the travel was starting to wear me down and this magical place has definitely recharged me.

kauai is still going to be my permanent residence indefinitely, but i am headed back to canada for a few weeks TODAY! ah! the cold is going to be an adjustment and hopefully 2 weeks isn’t long enough to lose my island-girl-tan ;). first things first i am headed out to bikini town for easter with the family. then back to the farm for wedding number 2 for this season and THEN…. wait for it… i am flying out to MEXICO for wedding numero tres! it’s going to be a great few weeks, but i already can’t wait to get back to kauai. what a blessing it is to get to live somewhere where you can be excited to leave, but just as excited to come home:)
