walking up to the stables we could see the horses, and it was almost as if they were glowing in the sun’s backlight. we had such an amazing evening wandering around the scenic cliffs taking photographs; it felt like hanging out with 2 old friends. we talked and laughed and the time flew by. the clouds had all gathered to the west and the sky lit up in a thousand colors as the sun set. one of my favorite things about Kauai is that sometimes the most magical scenes can be right off the side of a road. <3

i love sessions like these, and the colors on this day were just unreal. every corner we turned seemed like a new place i had never seen before even though we have shot here hundreds of times. so happy for these two and grateful to have gotten to take their engagement photographs while they were on vacation on Kauai in one of my favorite spots! ENJOY!!
