The afternoon started early with lunch, an INCREDIBLE lunch. brendan made some sort of out-of-this-world Thai-soup that was to die for. It was like they knew me, Thai-soup is probably one of my absolutely FAVORITE things to eat on the planet, so awesome! I felt so lucky to have been invited into their home for a meal without ever even meeting them before. Both Kaitlynn and Brendan welcomed me like old friends with a glass of wine and the music blaring just like I love it. Kaitlynn is so sweet and bubbly and I don’t think Brendan stopped smiling in the 4 hours that we were all together.
We drove down to Fish Creek Park to snap a few photographs after our amazing meal and the sun was perfect. These two are so playful and romantic, it was a dream to photograph them. They began a snowball fight and even busted out a flask for a quick shot of tequila to keep us all warm half way through the session, and then naturally the tobogganing began…. haha:)
If I had to say one thing about this amazing couple it would be that they know how to live. they are so full of life and joy it was incredibly refreshing just being around them and their energy. I cannot WAIT for their wedding next September… and I hope these photographs give you the same warm-high-on-life feeling they gave me while taking them! Happy Monday!
xo,
Meg.
