i love photographing elopements but when i have time, some of my favorite sessions to shoot these 1hour lifestyle sessions with people visiting kauai from all over the world. kauai is such a magical place and when couples are traveling together, (unless you’re a queen at the self-timer photos like me, haha;)) photographs tend to be of one person or the other. i think it’s so cool to get to remember these vacations that you took together with photographs showing your relationship and your love for one another at that exact moment in that exact place. it doesn’t need to be for your honeymoon or anniversary, it can be just because. an adventure together, quiet time to talk, space to just be close to one another. what a cool way to slow down and take some time to be still together no matter where you are at in your life. and if you’re lucky, when you take time to do this, magic like this happens:)
