The day began with getting ready photos at their resort, where Micah skillfully captured the excitement and anticipation in the air. Ben looked dapper in a hunter green linen suit with brown accents, exuding elegance and style. Carrie was stunning in her white wedding dress, which featured a modest train and charming bow tie straps on her shoulders. Her hair was pulled half up, adding a touch of sophistication to her bridal look.

The couple’s first look was set against the backdrop of a nearby beach, creating an intimate and emotional moment that Micah captured perfectly. Following this, they ventured up a dirt trail to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Here, surrounded by the natural beauty of Kauai, Micah took a series of photos that truly showcased the couple’s love and the island’s stunning landscape.

Tommy Tokioka officiated the ceremony, incorporating traditional Hawaiian elements to honor the island’s rich culture. The heartfelt ceremony culminated in a kiss that sealed their union, a moment beautifully captured by Micah. Following the ceremony, Micah photographed the newlyweds with their friends and family who had traveled to share in their special day.

As the ceremony time approached, Carrie and Ben made their way to The Beach House, a short five-minute drive away. Their guests were greeted with refreshing Monkeypod Mai Tais at the oceanfront ceremony location. The wooden circle arch, adorned with vibrant florals including monstera leaves, pink anthuriums, orange orchids, roses, and birds of paradise, created a picturesque setting. The aisle was lined with elegant white orchids, adding to the tropical charm.

The reception began with a grand entrance by the newlyweds. Held under a clear top tent adorned with disco balls, the reception space was both elegant and festive. Before the festivities commenced, Micah led Carrie and Ben down to the ocean’s edge for blue light and golden hour photos. Their playful spirits shone through in these stunning images, highlighting the joy of the day.

As the celebration continued, traditional elements such as the first dance and parent dances were heartfelt highlights. The cake cutting featured a simple yet beautiful two-tier white cake adorned with cascading orange orchids. Once the formalities concluded, the night turned into a lively celebration. Guests danced under the stars and disco balls to the music provided by DJ Ben from Kustom Sounds Kauai.

Carrie and Ben’s wedding was a testament to the magic that can be created with the right combination of love, stunning scenery, and expert photography. Bradyhouse Studios, renowned for their exceptional Kauai wedding photography, truly captured the essence of this beautiful destination wedding.
