the wind blew gently, draping laura’s veil around the two of them. they stood there together, half giggling half still, just taking in the immense beauty that was all around them. every single time i explore and photograph these mountains i am left with awestruck wonder that this place is real. there is such a since of enchantment (not to be cliche with the word but it really is the only one i can think of to describe it…). the waterfalls falling in the background with the serene peace and quiet that comes from getting away from reality and being on one of the most remote coastlines in the world. the air is fresh, the sky is as blue as the water below and the trees are greener than anywhere i’ve ever seen. if never-never-land is a real thing, i promise you this is it.
it was such a pleasure that these two came all the way from australia for their enchanted elopement in this sacred place, and it was a blast hiking and exploring around with them. we made it down to the beach just in time for sunset and the sky lit up just as the sun peaked below the horizon. what a perfect ending to an incredible day. congratulations laura and brenton!! enjoy!
