as i sat down at my computer this morning. i thought… i need to blog today… and the first thing that came to my mind was fall. i know, i have probably blogged about fall eight million times already in some way. but i don’t think you all realize HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SEASON! and especially here! the colors are phenomenal, and they LAST! at home in alberta i think fall lasts all of 3 days, and if the weather is cold during those days, it’s tough luck because it’s gone for another year. i have been swooning over the fall colors here since september, and yesterday i shot a family session in some of the most beautiful colors and light i have ever seen, thanks to this ‘what-seems-to-be-an-everlasting season in the okanagan. (as it is snowing in alberta right now i feel especially lucky to be in such a beautiful place! i’m sure the snow is probably coming soon for here too!)
this morning i woke up and the sun was shining, it was brisk outside but the kind of brisk that you instantly know is going to turn into a beautiful day. i am not sure how much longer this amazing weather is going to last, so it is my plan this afternoon to head out with tucker and SC to snap some last minute fall photos of the three of us. (because we have NOOO pictures of us, anywhere π π ha ha…). i want to capture as many moments in this beautiful season as i can before the snow comes, and then that will be a whole new beautiful season here i am sure.
today, i am thankful for sunshine. and the color orange. and yellow. and green. and that i am not in the snowing cold of alberta at this moment ~ as i am sure everyone has realized from some previous blogs, i do LOVE home… but for right now, i am loving this these days π
enjoy your friday everyone!
Here is a little sneak peak from yesterday, as well as some other fall photos I have taken! Thanks for your help with this sesh AB! (I guess it is AW now?!?!)

gotta love the self timer! as seen below, sometimes the timing can be slightly difficult to decide “when” to jump ;)…
… but after a few.. ok..maybe more like after 7 tries…we figured it out!… haha!
Wireless remote shutter release = best investment ever. Never miss a jumping picture again π
