Oooh where to start with these two! This session was photographed by my 2nd lead photographer Micah Camara with Peter on the drone to get these insane areal shots, and I was SO jealous I wasn’t there after meeting Emily and Brandon and seeing that incredible rainbow they were blessed with!

“Maybe we’ll get a little rainbow” she said that morning, with no inclination of even a rainstorm as the sky was perfectly blue. Before the session they both decided to head out and purchase post cards of Kauai where they could write love letters to each other and read them at the session, and when they both pulled out the exact same post card there was a special kind of electricity in the air. Soon enough, the rainbow Emily had wished for appeared out in the ocean and before they knew it it had grown into one of the most epic double rainbows of all time. Emily’s eyes filled with tears and she threw her arms out as if to hug the universe as she cuddled back into Brandon’s arms. The island blessed them to say the least and what a honor to have Micah and Peter there to capture it for them.

After their session I met with the team and with Emily and Brandon and we all went out for drinks and dinner to celebrate the epicness that had just happened (and I sulked a little bit in sadness that I wasn’t there to see it myself, haha!). These two are so fun to be around, always laughing and joking and even though I wasn’t even at their session I felt like I had known them for years. (And as it turned out they actually knew one of Peter and Micah’s old work friends from Kauai and they had been best friends with him when going to University, it’s just a crazy small world!)

It’s always so amazing to see how our cameras connect us with all of these different rad people and incredible stories. amazing job to Micah and Pete for rocking this session and Emily and Brandon you guys are da bomb! Come back and visit us soon!
