On the morning of Tanja and Josef’s elopement, our team woke up at 4:30am and started our day the most epic way possible with these two. A beautiful sunrise, the biggest smiles, and so much joy. Tanja and Josef traveled to Kaua’i all the way from Austria as wedding photographers themselves for their elopement, and as much as Kaua’i really showed them her magic on this morning, it was the way these two looked at each other with such adoration and love that really made it special. Their vows weren’t in English but it didn’t even matter, the tears welled up in everyone’s eyes just watching how in love with each other they were and how thankful they were to be there in that moment. It really was a beautiful thing to witness and the morning couldn’t have been more perfect. We ended the day cheersing a few glasses of champagne with them and their sweet friends to celebrate their marriage (well, Peter and Micah did, I was 29 weeks pregnant ha!!) and they headed off to do a little hike up in the canyon and then for a sunset NaPali Boat cruise with Captain Andy’s! What an epic way to spend your wedding day, these guys did it right! From sunrise to sunset, so glad we got to be a part of the magic. Enjoy the photographs, these are some of my favorites!
