The best resort for a destination wedding in Huatulco

Are you dreaming of a destination wedding, but feeling overwhelmed with all the options? Well, if you’re obsessed with quaint beaches, beautiful architecture, and breathtaking views from your casita’s deck, then Las Palmas Oceanfront Villas and Casitas in Huatulco, Mexico might be for you! Steph and Kama had to take into consideration that they have friends and family that will be coming from Hawai’i, throughout the states and Canada, so they knew Mexico would be the ideal destination wedding location. Not only is it central for their guests to get there, but the resort makes everything as accommodating as possible by offering transportation from the airport, grocery services and they can also help plan your wedding week events so your guests never run out of fun things to do.  

Steph and Kama’s wedding ceremony was an absolute dream. They chose to get married at Playa Camino Real Zaashila Resort in Huatulco, which is the perfect destination wedding location with a private beach fronting the resort. The white stucco exterior of the resort along with the private beach make for the dreamiest, most intimate photos. Their ceremony set up is definitely in my top 5; the bamboo chairs with white cushions and all the greenery and palms perfectly complemented the natural landscape. Their ceremony was filled with so many happy tears and both Steph and Kama shared the most heartfelt, beautiful vows.

For their reception, they headed back to the resort they were staying at, Las Palmas Oceanfront Villas and Casitas, Huatulco. The ceiling was adorned with greenery and bamboo chandeliers, the tequila was flowing and the dance floor was the place to be. What happens when you unite two amazing families and groups of friends – this kind of celebration! The energy that night was on fire, so it was only fitting that their night ended with almost everyone in the pool that was just steps away from their reception space.
