The couple began their day getting ready at separate nearby Airbnbs, setting the tone for a relaxed and personal celebration. Kelsey looked radiant in a white wedding dress with embroidered accents, her hair styled in loose curls that perfectly complemented her boho-inspired bouquet. Her bouquet featured a stunning mix of red and pink roses, orange proteas, pampas grass, and eucalyptus, adding depth and texture to her look. Jack, in a dapper blue suit, wore a dusty orange orchid boutonniere that tied in beautifully with the burgundy bridesmaid dresses and his matching burgundy pocket square.
One of the most touching moments of the day was Kelsey and Jack’s private first look, which took place in a bamboo forest near the golf course. The lush green scenery heightened the boho-tropical atmosphere, creating a picturesque backdrop for this intimate moment between the couple.
The ceremony itself was held on the bluff of Makai Golf Course, with sweeping views of the ocean and mountains as the backdrop. Kelsey’s father walked her down the aisle to meet Jack, who stood in front a circular wooden arch adorned with flowers that mirrored Kelsey’s bouquet. The ceremony was short, sweet, and emotional, leaving everyone with happy tears.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed cocktails from a charming golf cart bar, adding a fun and laid-back touch to the celebration. While guests headed to the reception at the golf course clubhouse, Kelsey and Jack stayed behind for a sunset photo session. The sky transformed into a fiery canvas of blue, pink, orange, and yellow as the golden hour light enveloped the couple. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the last hues of orange and gray created a perfect moment for silhouette photos, capturing the essence of their love against Kauai’s stunning landscape.
At the Clubhouse, the reception was an intimate affair with just under 20 guests. A long, family-style table was set with white linens, wooden folding chairs, and floral arrangements in vibrant shades of yellow, orange, red, and green. Votives added a romantic glow to the evening as guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and cocktails. Kelsey and Jack incorporated traditional wedding elements, including their first dance and parent dances, making the night even more special.
Their wedding was a perfect, intimate celebration that truly reflected the love they share. With the help of Bradyhouse Studios, every candid moment and heartfelt detail was beautifully preserved, creating timeless memories of their destination wedding in Kauai.
