the valley was socked in with fog but we weren’t in a hurry, we hiked down the ridge until we got to the spot kristin and justin had picked out earlier that week while exploring and they started to get ready. the fog almost looked sureal, and these two were such an incredible reminder to not stress over the things we can’t control. all the cared about was that they were about to say their vows to one another and exchange rings to seal their commitment to one another, fog or no fog. she began to walk down the cliff-line towards justin for their first look, and as soon as she started walking, the sun rays were shining through the trees and it seemed as if the fog was lifting. he turned around to see her, and just like that the fog blew out out of the valley leaving the most magical backdrop. they stayed there with eachother for a while, and when they were ready they took eachothers hand and walked even further out onto the ledge. they got out their journal, and read the sweetest vows to one another. and as soon as they were finished their first dance? the fog rolled right back in. everything about this afternoon was absolutely meant-to-be.

we ended the afternoon on a white sand beach, all to ourselves watching another beautiful kauai sunset. waves crashed in and out as they playfully ran back and forth on the beach trying not to get too wet. their feet were sandy, kristins dress was soaked by the end of it and they were all smiles. so grateful for these two and their warm, easy-going and playful personalities. congratulations kristin and justin, what a magical day!!
