they stood there together infront of one of the most incredible landscapes i have ever imagined and she leaned up against him. the sky flickered different shades of orange and purple as the sun got lower and they talked quietly to eachother. the air was calm and everything was so peaceful. we all stood there in near silence just taking it in and you could tell there was no where else in the world that either of them wanted to be. and to be honest, there was no where else in the world i would have wanted to be either. what a blessing to call this my job in this beautiful place, and then to get to meet such incredible people along the way. sometimes i just have to take a step back and all i can think is, wow.

even though we had never met before, this session felt more like catching up with old friends rather than a photoshoot. katie has the warmest smile and they were both so easy to talk to and laugh with. i can’t wait to hang with these two more over the next little while and i am SO crazy-over-the-top-excited for their north shore wedding in a few short months! gah! is this real life?!!?
