they stood together on the rock before they started reading their vows. i watched them as jeff pulled her close and kissed her, she laughed and her dress blew romantically with the wind. they were so in-tuned with eachother, a coastline lit up with the most beautiful sunset and they were still only looking at eachother. no rush. no nerves. just playfully standing together taking in every last detail of the moment. when they started reading their promises to eachother, the sun dipped out from under the cloud and the rain fell gently blending in with alisons tears of happiness. it was such a perfect moment i didn’t want it to end, we were in the presence of true, mature love and happiness and in that moment, the world stood still as they committed their lives to eachother.

we hiked up the hanakapiai trail earlier that day and every corner we came up to we all wanted to go just a little bit further because every step was so beautiful. if you are coming to kauai, this is definitely a must-do. such a perfect mix of adventure and romance for these two and i am so grateful they came all the way here from alabama to do an enchanted elopement. hope you all enjoy the photographs, congratulations ali and jeff!!

i was freaking out over alison’s montana saphire ring, the color of blue perfectly matched the ocean, love it when couples do something different like this, so beautiful!
