Ruth and Warren dreamed of a romantic, stress-free and very intimate elopement. Just the two of them and their two little children, a gorgeous location that embodies the essence of Kauai and handwritten vows. One sentence stuck out the most on their inquiry form – “It’s about the moment, not just a wedding.” Reading that, we knew this was the perfect match.

To make sure this was a stress-free day for them, we suggested our Vendor Curated Elopement experience in which we coordinate and secure the best florist, bridal hair and makeup artist and officiant for their day, along with guiding them through our favorite location options and crafting the perfect timeline for their day. All they had to do was pick their favorite locations, send us inspo for their flowers and we took care of the rest from there.

For Ruth’s bouquet, she dreamed of something hand-tied and posy, with a palette of peach, soft pink, cream and soft oranges with classic touches like vines and dried elements. Kim with Liko Floral created a stunning bouquet for Ruth with all the elements she dreamed of. To compliment her bouquet, Warren wore a matching boutonniere on the lapel of his suit jacket. Kim also crafted a ti-maile lei for Warren and a double-strand crown flower lei for Ruth that they exchanged during their ceremony.

Their ceremony was officiated by Kama Chock and began with a blowing of the conch shell. His ceremony included beautiful Hawaiian components that “help center ourselves in gratitude, togetherness and reflection.” Ruth and Warren also exchanged heartfelt handwritten vows and Kama incorporated their kids into parts of the ceremony to ensure they were included in such an important moment for their family.

To celebrate their marriage, the Bradyhouse team took Ruth, Warren and their kids to the cliff near their ceremony for a few big scenic shots before heading to another nearby beach for sunset. Together they explored different scenic locations, including a field with mountain views, a pasture with horses and a cliff perched over the ocean. As the sun began to set, Ruth and Warren popped open a bottle of bubbles and shared a toast while their kids lit sparklers in celebration of their parent’s union.

Sharing this moment with Ruth and Chris was so special and we’re honored to have helped create their dream elopement. Whether you’re dreaming of a small, intimate elopement like Ruth and Chris, or a celebration surrounded with all your loved ones, Bradyhouse Studios would love to capture your dream Hawaii wedding. We believe in handwritten vows, quieting the noise to experience the moments and that magic follows you wherever you go, as long as you go together.
