The day began with a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Raphael Church in Koloa, the oldest Catholic church on Kauai. Jenny was breathtaking in her lace wedding gown, which featured a matching long-sleeve jacket and a delicate blusher veil. Martin complemented her perfectly, looking dapper in a white suit paired with black slacks. The couple shared all the meaningful elements of a Catholic wedding, exchanging vows in front of their loved ones in a ceremony that was both beautiful and deeply significant.

After the ceremony, everyone headed back to the Grand Hyatt Kauai for cocktail hour and the reception. While guests enjoyed the beginning of cocktail hour, our Kauai wedding photographer and videographer team, Peter, Micah, and Dayna, took the newlyweds down to the shoreline for some stunning beach photos. The mist rising from the ocean waves, combined with the golden sunrays, created an unforgettable backdrop. On the way back up to the reception, we also captured a few more shots amid the resort’s lush greenery, adding depth and richness to their wedding portraits.

Before guests entered the reception, Jenny and Martin had the special opportunity to privately view the beautifully decorated reception room. They even shared a romantic dance on the dance floor, enjoying a quiet moment together before the evening’s festivities began.

As the night progressed, the reception was filled with traditional elements, from the couple’s first dance to touching parent dances and a fun money dance. One of the standout moments was Jenny’s surprise hula performance for Martin, a touching and personal gesture that added a unique twist to their celebration. After dinner and heartwarming speeches from their closest friends and family, it was time to hit the dance floor. Surrounded by their loved ones, Jenny and Martin spent the rest of the evening dancing to their favorite songs, making memories that will last a lifetime.
